Anyone with a short Luteal phase have luck with B vitamins

?

I have heard that taking B vitamins help with increasing your luteal phase.

I looked for some at my pharmacy, and I was really surprised to see how many different ones there were. I was not sure which one/ones I needed so I left without any.

I'd love some suggestions/advice from girls who have taken B vitamins...do I need a complex of B vitamins, or b12, or b6 or what?

  • I would recommend taking a B complex vitamin AND a B6 (100mg) for better absorption.

Good luck--it should work within a few cycles.

  • I got a one day increase.

  • Before I took a B-6 Supplement (100 mg), my luteal phase was 10 days. Last cycle, while taking B-6 daily, my luteal phase was 12 days. For the most part, I have heard of a 1-3 day increase on avg. from the girls on GP who have taken B-6.

    Good luck!?

  • I took a vitamin B complex and it had "seemed" to work the cycle I started, I went from 10 day LP to 15 days.  But the cycle after that went down to 9.  So I added progesterone cream to the mix and it just happen to be my bfp cycle.
