My Easter Was Not So Good!

I was supposed to go to SIL's with all the family and have lunch, I made desserts on saturday to bring with me today and had gifts for the nieces, but instead I woke up with a terrible hadache, achy, and was throwing up most of the day with a fever of 102!  So that cancelled all my plans for Easter.

Since I missed going to SIL's, I found out later that she had big news that she announced to everyone.  Her and her DH found out that they are pregnant, and they are having twins!!!!  I am so happy for them and wish I could have been there to hear the news with everyone else and see everyone's reactions.

Thanks for letting me vent a little

    ahh that does suck! being sick is never fun but on a holiday it makes it worse. sorry you missed out on an exciting day but congrats to them.

    Oh yuck!  I am so sorry you had to miss out on such a special announcement and holiday.  I hope you feel better soon so that you can celebrate the upcoming arrival of your two new nieces/nephews.
