Thanks again to all for your support. We had our induction last wed night/thurs morning.
I'm not going into details but we lost baby Chloe about 8 hours into induction. Her body and cord did not have the reserves to tolerate labor, leading all to feel that there was an underlying issue that could not be detected.
We had a c section and our Kira was born at 6 lbs 1 oz. Chloe was born 3 minutes later at 4 lbs 10 oz. We've been surrounded by love and support from our family, friends and the hospital and of course most of all by Kira - she's so good and eating/sleeping like a champ. Our true belief is that Chloe struggled and held on for as long as she could to get Kira to 37 weeks and give her the best chance possible and keep her out of the NICU.
We should hopefully go home tomorrow as our new family. Best to everyone for healthy babies.
