Yesterday at the grocery store I found these Gerber ?Juicy Snacks? for toddlers. They are like little fruit snacks that are soft and easy to chew. I tried them and they are really good! I?m going to put them in DS eggs.
We are putting cereal, yogurt melts, a couple of new paci's, and some toddler fruit stips. DD has food allergies so that is pretty much all we can do. All the chocolate items that we looked at contained something that she is allergic to, jelly beans use eggs which she is allergic to. I can't think of anything else to put in the eggs.
I found Little People eggs at Target. I also found some party necklaces (that have a break-away clasp). Since DD loves necklaces I'm going to put those in her eggs.
almost exact as to what Lightbrights got in her Dc basket, but I'll let him try maybe 1 peeps oh and Goldfish (with the utmost supervision) as a girl I know had to unlodge one in her DC's throat, yikes!
we put nothing in them - just let her pick them up and put them in a basket.
I got puffs and cheerios for them, but the eggs has the strongest chemical smell (even after handwashing) that I could not feel comfortable putting food in them! I ran them through the dishwasher twice and the smell is *mostly* gone... so I maygive her basket to her again or let her do another little hunt with actual treats in there this time
the kids opened them up and threw them all over the yard. it was funny! guess thats what happens when you do an easter egg hunt with one year old boys!

Gummy snacks, Annie's Bunny Grahams, and mini-froggy marshmallows.
You, of course, know MY eggs will contain a wad of Fun Dip. I'm giving the CC Pop Rocks to Brandon. Gross.

We're putting in:?
- mini Teddy Grahams
- yogurt melts
- marshmallows
- freeze-dried fruit
- and some Earth's Best vanilla snack crackers
I think she'll have a blast with those. Most Easter candy seems to be choking-hazard-sized-or-shaped anyway. ?
