Baby is rockin' out

in 3rd Trimester
DH brought out his 80's style headphones so that we could play music for the baby. I decided to start her out with Jack Johnson. She's moving around like crazy now! One of our books said that babies will move with the beat... I'm not sure she has rhythm yet, but maybe with practice ;)

    Ha Ha Ha!! I love it!! My older think it is cool to jam to Beyonce, " All the Single Ladies!" when  they do that my little one kickes like crazy!!!!

    I am so doing this tonight!  So fun, and why not hone their musical taste right away?!  My boys love Jack Johnson.  And U2, as a matter of fact, when they "pretend" they pretend to be Bono and the Edge....and are "working" with their band.  Why didn't I do this yet?!

    It's not exactly rocking out, but I went to the dentist yesterday to get a filling fixed, and DS was moving and kicking like crazy.  Hopefully that's not a sign that he's going to hate the dentist, but it was absolutely crazy how much the sounds made him move around!

    Haha, DH and I have been talking about doing this for a while. You always seem to hear about playing classical, but DH said "why don't we play them music that WE actually listen to." Good point, DH! After all, my parents indoctrinated me with Simon and Garfunkle. ;) So I'm planning on moving on to Django... DH can choose the next one; I'm guessing jazz and Billy Idol.
