How many poopy diapers...

does your LO have in a day?  Are they always changing in color or pretty consistent?

Re: How many poopy diapers...

  • Sometime around 10 weeks we went from soiled diapers at almost every change, to maybe one a day or one every couple of days.

They are anywhere from yellow to tan to green.

  • The colors vary a lot.  We're still getting at least 2 poopy diapers every 24-hour period, one of which is a diaper-filling blow-out.  Yesterday we had 4.  Indifferent

Same experience in terms of number.  Ours are mostly orangeish though sometimes it's more yellowy.

  • DD had soiled diapers at almost every change until about 6 weeks, then she changed to about 1-2 per day (but every once in a while she'll go a full day with only wet diapers.)  Around the same time they changed from always being mustard-y yellow and now they can be anything from yellow to brownish to green.
  • Our doc told us to only be concerned if it drastically changed. For us pooping multiple times per day would have been a drastic change because she's an every 5-7 day kinda gal. The color and consistency were also consistent until we started solids.
  • DD still has many poopy diapers! They've stayed pretty much the same color.
