I have 2 1/2 hours free...

and I have no idea what I should do. I get out of work at noon, but the toddlers at daycare nap from 12:30-2:30, and I don't want to show up and interrupt their nap. So I have from 12-2:30 with no kids, no husband, no work....I'm tempted to go home and clean, or go grocery shopping, but then part of me wants to go do something fun since I rarely (never) get this much time to myself....

    I vote for a nap. I so wish I had 2 hours uninterrupted so I could sleep. Or I would vegg out on the couch and do nothing, but watch a movie. But knowing me I would probably do laundry and clean....lol

    LOL, yeah, obviously I posted this so everyone would tell me to go do something fun. A nap sounds SO nice, but I'm afraid that if I go home I will get sucked into cleaning, and my two hours will be up before I know it....

    Are you the pedicure type?  That could be fun, especially since the weather is crappy and you'll have to do something inside.  The nap option sounds heavenly too though!

    Go see a movie or shop!

    Or better yet, go have lunch with a friend.  I know you can have lunch w/kids, but it's always nice to have uninterrupted conversation and lunch!

    Grab a good book and go sit at Starbucks or go get a mani/pedi. Although a nap on a rainy afternoon sounds pretty awesome... enjoy it! Whatever you do, dont do laundry :)

    I vote for fun!  If you're anything like me, you'd just end up going home and piddling the time away and not end up doing anything terribly productive.  You should definitely have some "Alison" time!

    ohh like pp go get a pedicure, if your into that stuff. I could so use one right now. I take my nap vote back and vote for a pedicure. Something nice and relaxing for yourself. oh yes...... {{dreaming of a pedicure}} lol...

    Oh, so many great suggestions...wish I could do them all! Right now I'm leaning towards a pedi, or a bookstore & coffee, oh, it's a great day for a nap too...but the wine & lunch things sounds great also! Don't you think I'd look a little pathetic drinking alone at noon, though? :-) Happy hour was my first choice but all of my work happy hour buddies took the day off!
