Hi Everyone,
This is my first post on this board. Just a little background, I have a 21 month old DD and we have been TTC #2 with no luck. Well I have had 3 m/c and I had 1 m/c prior to DD. All my tests and along with MH's have come back normal. I just did my first cycle of Clomid and ovidrel. I triggered last Friday am. My Ovulation was confirmed yesterday. But since the shot I have been so incredibly crampy and now my bbs have been hurting. I don't want to read too much into these symptoms so I am chalking it up to the shot. But is it still possible that the shot is making me feel like this?
Also, since I have had so many losses, I have become paranoid to do anything during my 2ww. I get so worried picking up my DD or today she kicked me twice in my lower pelvis (on accident of course) and it freaked me out. Please let me I am not alone and this is all normal? I feel like I am putting my life on hold during these 2 weeks.
Thanks!
Re: 1st post over here...? about cramping during 2ww after clomid & ovidrel
Hi and welcome to the board!
The shot shouldn't be making you feel like that. More than likely it is the progesterone from you O'ing that is doing it. It's normal. These symptoms mimic pg symptoms and that just makes it all the more unfair
I think that once you have struggled to have a baby the 2ww worry never goes away. Having had a m/c only makes it worse. Rest assured though that if you have a little peanut trying to snuggle down in there, your DD kicking you or picking her up shouldn't hurt it any. Your ute is still under your pubic bone and somewhat protected!
Hang in there and good luck!
I can't even think to add anything to what Josie, just said... so spot on! My doc told me something about the kicking at this point: your little embryo by this point is very safely snuggled away behind your pelvic bone. Your DD couldn't have hurt it. That gave me comfort w/a wild tot!
I'm sorry for all the pain you have gone through. Welcome to the board! It is a good place to look for support.
