  My aunt by card from her pets to her kids all the time.  They think it is insane but she likes doing it.  After my uncle died I convinced my cousin to buy her cards from the dogs for a couple of occasions so it wouldn't be as hard on her since he would buy her cards from the dogs too.

  Oh my.

  I did find some doggie birthday cards that are actually just big, thin dog treats, but that makes sense.

  When my dog has surgery, many of her doggie friends sent her get well soon cards   Also, my work sent her a get well soon card & cute stickers.  BUT, I work at a large specialty referral & emergency veterinary hospital so it is a little different ....

  They were probably more for you, than for your doggy, though. ?It is really weird that the OWNER was having a card signed. ?And I am a cat freak.?
