How will you tell dh?

When you get that +HPT, how are you going to tell? Anyone thought about a good way to break the news?

 

Whatever you do, I don't recommend my way with ds.. I just walked out of the bathroom and stuck the stick in his face.. His response? "Holy Sh!t!" He still owes me for that one..Smile

    If I get a positive when he's not around, I'm gonna go buy a bib or something that says "I love Daddy" to give to him.  I'll do something similar for my parents.

    When I got my positive for my chemical pg. It was 5:30 am and I crawled into the bed and said "You're going to be a daddy". Then I made him look at the digital pg test.  Poor guy was so shocked he couldn't go back to sleep. I think next time I'll let him sleep in and then tell him.  Not sure how to tell next time though.

    He'll probably be there otherwise I will just tell him when he gets home. He's not a cutesy kind of guy, so he wouldn't appreciate the effort. I do want to do something cute for telling our parents though.

    The first +hpt i got dh was in the shower, I went into the bathroom and pulled open the curtain and showed him the stick...no response...I forgot he couldn't see it with out his contacts in...lol ?However when I told him what i was holding up he said "OH"...then i smacked him and we hugged...lol

    This time around...not sure...I do plan on telling my closest family and friend face to face if I can this time!!! ?I wanna see the reaction!?

    With DD, I threw the hpt in the trash when I didn't see the second line right away.  DH knew I was testing (for the umpteenth hundredth time), and made fun of me for tossing it that quickly.  I was used to fast BFNs.  I got it out of the trash to humor him...running my mouth the whole time.  It was two very faint lines.  I about passed out and he ran around the room screaming like a kid at Christmas.  It truly suited us, although I did not plan it that way.

    When I get my BFP this time, I plan to put a "I am the big sister" t shirt on DD and hand her to her daddy.

    When I found out I was pregnant I called him at work. LOL

    We had  talked about how he wanted to find out...from a cutesy way to just simply waiting to tell him in person.  I knew I would not be able to hold something like that in all day so i asked him if I called him at work would he be upset.  He looked at me like 'hello do you know me?' and said 'No'.

    I have no freaking idea! The whole idea of actually being pregnant seems like a faraway dream.  I'm not sure what I'll do if it really comes true...

    Hey Ladies, I'm just lurking over here but I actually have a really cute plan for telling my DH when the time comes. First, you should know that my DH LOVES ellaborate plans and goes all out for everything (engagement, birthdays, anniversaries) so I knew I couldn't just tell him.

    So a couple months ago I ordered fortune cookies that say "there will be a new addition to your family soon." When I finally get that BFP I am going to offer to bring home Chinese (his favorite) and will throw them in there.

    Plus, I had to order 12 so I could use them to tell the parents too. I haven't decided on that though.
