not to tell you what to do but...my pedi said no to the numbing stuff because it leads to nerve damage in their mouths...i haven't done any research on that though. all i use is teething tablets.
I used Orajel when I had braces and never had any problems so I've used it on Ian a couple of times. ?It seems to work for him. ?I know a lot of people are against it but all the reasons I've heard are a bit too "scare tactic" sounding to me.

Ok so dont take this the wrong way. I have been told to not use orajel because it toughens their gums and makes them harder to come in but instead use whiskey just dip my finger in it and rub it on her gums. We are using teething tablets also that are all natural. I haven't tried the whiskey yet but will probably try it as we enter the hell part we aren't quite there yet.
