Not baby related, but I know there are some horse people around here ...

The NorCal Equine Rescue got in a mare that was obviously pregnant.  Foaled, baby was SUPER small ... But still kickin'!  They think he's about 30 days premature, but he's doing well.  Click here to read his story, it's pretty neat.  :)

    What a great story! He's a cutey and looks more like a sheep than a horse in some of the pictures. Hopefully he does well.

    Ohh, poor little baby! I hope he ends up growing up big and strong! I can't believe how tiny he is and his poor little bones sticking out all over the place!!

    That is SO sweet. I died of cuteness overload when they showed pictures of him in his little blanket and ASLEEP in the TRUCK :dead:

    Yeah, it's kinda-sorta BR, but not really.  ;)

    Most of the 30 day preemie babies I've had to deal with were stillborn (and this was at a MAJOR breeding facility), so it's nice to see this little guy.  He's just so TINY!!
