I KNEW I shouldn't let DD play with...

... my wallet! But I did for all of 5 minutes, ran to get the phone, and DD was on to something else already.. But now I can't find it ANYWHERE! I vaguely remember taking it from her and putting it somewhere so she didn't lose it, but I don't know where.. or if that was another time (lack of sleep, my brain is mush and if I did it, it was while I was on the phone and not paying attention) or if she stuck it somewhere! Ugh.

I just spend 30 minutes searching the house, everywhere! Even getting on my hands and knees crawling around to look in odd places. no luck! Crying Now I'm not-searching and hoping it turns up soon. I think this is the last time DD is going to be playing with that! And I'm annoyed that I finally found the babygates we wanted for the new new house and was about to order them.. and now I can't. urrrgh!!!

BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08.       BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09.
TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen.
BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy.

    LOL!!!  I feel your pain Harm hid my phone.  Today I had to go to the pedi's office by emergency and my poor DH was freaked b/c he couldn't find me.

    My wallet is my dd's absoulute fave thing to play with. It is the one thing that will keep her awake in the car so I can get home for naptime. But I already lost one credit card, and had to put a stop on it and get a new one, so it's no longer a potential toy. She's onto my keys now...

    Check drawers and cabinets. The babies love to hid things there, that's what we search when things are missing.

    My DD hides keys phones and wallets in the diaper bag.  She opens the zippers!!!

    Both my boys have done this. Did you check the toy box, thats where I seem to find everything, way at the bottom!

    If you think you might have put it somewhere so she couldn't get it again, look in high places:top of the fridge, in a kitchen cabinet, etc.  This is where I tend to "lose" the things I've hidden from DS.  GL!

    oooh one of those days. Sorry!

    My son figured out that my cell phone fits perfectly in his vtech choo-choo train toy and loves to stick it in the shoot and watch it spit out...needless to say I couldn't find my phone that day!

    Oh oh.

    When ds was about 18 months I couldn't find my credit card anywhere.  We looked EVERYWHERE for days and were just about to cancel it when we thought to ask ds if he had seen it.

    Sure enough the little bugger went and took the cusion off my reading chair and reached super far back into the back part where the base meets the back of the chair and pulled it out.  

    Grrrrrrrrrr.  He was so lucky he was cute.

    We gave DD a spoon to distract her from me cleaning out the dishwasher and we couldn't find it afterwards.  We found it a week later INSIDE the gas fireplace.  We caught her putting Cheerios in the slats of the fireplace and DH went to take it off to clean it out and we found the spoon too.

    Thanks for all the great looking spots suggestions!

     I FINALLY found it!!!!!!!!!!! Only took about 1.5 hours! Geez! I must have imagined taking it from her because it was obviously a DD hiding place, not mine ;) She put it in between the wheels, on the little body of the thing, under the handle (so well hidden basically) of her push toy. Phew. I was starting to go crazy looking for it!

    About a week ago DD stashed one of my Alaska Airlines Visa some place.  We have still yet to find it... I think we'll just end up watching the online balance sheet to see if there are any mysterious charges for yogurt melts, cheese, and toys that make very annoying noises on there...Stick out tongue
