Irrational vent RE the Duggars
Yeah, this is regarding the Duggar family (18 Kids and Counting). If you watch the show, you know that Josh and Anna got married in September and were virgins til marriage (didn't even kiss, only dated 3 mos while wedding planning). Well, DH and I got married a couple weeks later, in early October, and started TTC right away, with no luck. We had to take a break for my foot surgery and we're back to trying.
When we watched the episode where Josh & Anna got married, I told DH that I would be very upset if Anna got pregnant before I did. I was half-serious, but knew it would bug me. Well, if you've seen the previews of next week's episode, it looks like maybe Anna is pregnant. Here's where it gets really irrational... I've been charting for many months and feel pretty "in touch" with how my body works. Anna, on the other hand, didn't know which end of a naked man was up! If it turns out she is pregnant, I'm still gonna be upset.
I know there are lots of other factors involved and, yeah, I know... this is ridiculous of me.

This is exactly the type of person who ends up being ridiculously fertile. Just be thankful you aren't married to a man who expects you to have 18 kids!
exactly! Remember that in her vows she vowed to let JOSH decide when and how many kids they will have!!!!
Don't feel bad, remember that when your 20 years old you can get pg if a boy looks at you wrong.....just be glad your not 20 and PG!

Actually, I think they vowed to let God decide. They said they would accept any and all children from God, willingly. So, I'm assuming this means no BC of any kind ever. I wonder if Anna's mother raised her daughters teaching them about the rhythm method or anything like that, as outdated and ineffective as that is.

Yeah - that is exactly the person who ends up super fertile. ?It's always the ones who know nothing about sex that get knocked up the first time the dude puts it in.
Don't worry... when you do get PG, your baby will be WAY better hers. ?
