Odd discomfort in side

Hi everyone,

I've been having some discomfort (not pain) in my lower right abdomen.  Sometimes it's over towards my hip and other times it's near my ovary.  I know there's a lot of stretching and growing happening, but the dull discomfort can last for an hour at a time (unlike the quick RLP). 

I see the doctor on Monday, but I was wondering if any of you had experienced a long, dull pain like this.  It's only about a 'one' on a scale of 1 to 10.

    It sounds like a UTI or some other sort of bladder/kidney related issue to me.  With my first pg, my DD would lie on my ureter (sp??), which is the tube that carries pee from the kidney to the bladder.  OMG, it was so painful.  Well, not excruciating, but a constant, dull ache.  They did a ton of u/s on that side and couldn't find anything wrong so they just chalked it up to being the baby's fault, LOL!

    I was wondering if it was a UTI, but I'm not having discomfort while peeing, fever, cloudy pee, etc.  I'll definitely mention it to the doc on Monday, I'm just wondering if I should call a nurse any sooner.

    When in doubt call! You don't want it to get worse over the weekend and have the dr office be closed.
