How did you ever get through a cat bath?? That cat is so cute, even wet an and scrunched faced mad!
I worked as a veterinarian's assistant for a year and a half during college - bathing animals was part of the job, so I got a lot of experiance doing it. I didn't even get scratched, and yes, she has claws.
I've never bathed my cat, are you supposed to do this? I thought they cleaned themselves?? Mine is a real biter, I think it would be very painful!? FWIW he's indoor only...

Bathing them's definately optional. Most will clean themselves, some are better at it than others. Also, if you have allergies, washing them can help because it removes dander, etc.
She got washed today because I wanted to use flea shampoo on her to get rid of any possible fleas before they had a chance to spread.
****and she just looked too darn cute and mad not to share

Mrs. Teddy,
One of my cats is 8 and he's never had a bath either! Then again, he's never had any fleas or skin problems that would warrant giving him one. He's very very clean. I pick him up and snuggle him all the time and he just smells like a good clean kitty should!
My other cat, on the other hand, runs and jumps into the shower when he hears me turn the water on.......
We had to bathe my cat once. DH was peeing and the cat jumped right through the stream over the toilet. Apparently, boys can't stop the flow easily. It was disgusting.
Re: nesting goes too far?
yes. your nesting has gone too far.
now give me this angry cat of yours so that i may snuzzle her angry face.
::holds out hands::
To be fair, I did see a flea on her, so she got washed in flea shampoo and a new collar. NO idea where she got a flea, she's an indoor only cat.
:::hands mad Prada Cat over for comforting:::
