my husband said the same thing.. he'll say a few words here and there, but he's just waiting till i'm REALLY showing.. they said it's good to start in the second trimester -not sure the difference.
Mine tells the "bambino" bye every morning, and this might be TMI, but...we have a joke that everytime I fart it is the bambino talking to us. I never had gas, and now that I am pregnant....whoa!
DH has "belly time" every night before we got ot bed. Sometimes he talks to him/her and talks about us, sometimes just gabs, sometimes he talks about football (I think it's adorable when he does that) and sometimes he just lays his head on my belly and says nothing..when I ask him what he's doing, he says he's just sending good thoughts. He's been doing this since about BFP.
Mine does a little. Not all the time, but every now and then. I think it's the sweetest thing, if I'm laying on the couch, he'll come kneel next to me and kiss my stomach and talk a little to the baby, melts my heart.

We are not even TTC (we're not even married yet!) and mine already talks about babies all the time. When he thinks about making changes to the house or his work schedule he always considers "the kids". He has even started thinking about baby names! I am glad that when we do TTC we will both be really excited about the baby

He kind of does.. more than I do, anyway! He likes to rub my belly before we go to sleep.
"For a long time there were only your footprints & laughter in our dreams & even from such small things, we knew we could not wait to love you forever."
my DH will put his hand on my belly and make the "swoosh swoosh" sound we heard when we heard the heartbeat. I think it's sweet. I talk to it and tell it to stop making mommy sick! lol!
Nah, he's a little preoccupied with our 2 year old. He's super excited though!!The baby can't hear just yet so he'll probably wait until then. I'm not big on people touching my pooch at the moment anyway haha.
Not yet. He put his hand on my belly last week and said he was going to put his hand there every day so he can feel it grow, but I told him it's going to change too frequently right now with bloat, lol. My SIL suggested I start the weekly belly pics, but she's a size 0 and I'm a 14. I told her pizza belly is not cute!
Mine says a few things here and there, like when he says goodbye to me he then puts his hand on my belly and says goodbye to the baby. ?It's cute - I can't wait until he really starts talking to the baby.
Ever since the BFP...DH kisses my belly every morning before he leaves for work, and even sometimes before bed... He's so cute, (we've been TTC for 3 years) sometimes he'll rub my tummy and call baby "Cupcake"!
DH isn't really talking to the baby yet, but almost every morning he will hit "snooze" on the alarm once or twice and just lay there with his head or a hand on my belly. Sometimes we talk about the baby and our life in general...and sometimes I go back to sleep! Either way, it is really sweet and I like feeling close to him and the baby.
He does every now and then. He told the Sea Monkey last night that's s/he's gonna have to take second place in his heart after the DOG. After i beat him up, he took it back.
He rubs my belly and asks me how the sweet pea's doing....then I tell him it's a little lower.
I'll ask him to be a bit more interactive around 15 weeks when the brain is most likely to make sensory connection....if he doesn't take it upon himself. Right now the belly rubs are fine. He's also not one to break out the 'L' word a lot(nor am I). Since the BFP, he says it everyday almost. I think he's practicing getting used to it for the little one.
Re: Does your DH talk to the baby yet?
That is so adorable!
mine does... he'll put his face right next to my belly and talk... most of the time it's just silly little things.
he leaves for work before me so he usually wakes me up to give me a kiss good bye, and now he kisses my belly and tells it to have a good day. haha
Same here! It's so cute!
My DH has been talking to the babe since we found out. It's adorable!
