What is that in my bed?

I woke up last night hitting something with my leg that I couldn't figure out.  The dog (50lbs), who usually lies along my right side over the covers, moved down.

I don't know how he did it but he covered himself in the blanket and his head was sticking out the other end of the bed. It was the pads of his paws scraping against my legs. What a weirdo. He looked human - like something out of a 3 Stooges flick. He even managed to have his head on the end of my body pillow which was turned sideways.

I am hoping this isn't a new trick. Goof.

  • That's funny. My parents dog used to think she was a human too - would get up on a loveseat in between two people and sit there like she was just watching TV with them.

Since I got pregnant I guess my body chemisty has changed or something b/c one of my kittens will creep up in the middle of the night and lick me like crazy. Whatever skin is exposed, my arm, my foot, my fingers... whatever she can get. And she doesn't do it twice and walk away. She does it until you make her stop - just over and over. I hope when I am huge and its the summer she isn't licking my baby belly. Indifferent

  • My dog's latest thing is putting the front half of his body under a blanket and letting the rest hang out.  It's pretty funny.  I'd think that it would be more comfortable the other way around, but he seems to like it!  And what's even funnier, is that for the first two years of his life, he HATED being under blankets!!
