Oh boy, i felt like that for about 2 and a half months! All I did was sleep. I never felt like it was enough either. But personally, I can't think of a better way. As I'm finishing up the first trimester, I have SO much more energy. I think it's just part of the 1st tri and that you will feel better in a few more weeks. Keep your head up!
I was experiencing the same thing, but it's gotten a little better. I mostly stayed away from all caffeine and avoided any thing that would give those ups and downs of a sugar rush that give you bursts of energy, but then leave you feeling worse than before. I also made sure I was going to bed at a normal time and became a HUGE fan of cat naps. Good luck!
the best cure is just sleep and rest. you're making a human, it's exhausting so let your body rest when you can. I've heard that 2nd tri is much better so hey there's a light at the end of the tunnel!
Sleep! Your body is telling you that's what it needs. Also, when you feel up for it, work out, go for a walk and eat as healthy as possible. This phase started at 6 weeks for me and was over by 8 weeks, but it's different for everyone. Good Luck!
gym!.. i know, sounds like it's the last thing you'd want to do. I start getting tired after lunch and by the time i get home i feel like my legs are rubber.. there have been times where i take a 30 min nap and then go to the gym (with sleeping marks still on my face) or just go straight after.. once i'm at the gym and start doing my work out i feel absolutely wonderful.
I have more energy than when i woke up for the next 3/4 hours which is enought time to cook dinner and watch a show..
