Anyone have one of those walkers on wheels, or any of those toys they stand behind and push? DD loves to pull herself up and "walk" around the perimiter of furniture, so I'm thinking that maybe she would like something like that.
What toys does your "prewalker" enjoy?

Re: good toys for babies learning to walk?
Raegan had one of those carebear toys that you are supposed to ride on and wheel around but she was more interested in holding onto the back while standing and she'd walk behind it.
Also, when we got her leapfrog laugh and learn table she would push it across the floor because it is light enough -even on carpet.
I got one of those wheelie walker thingies at a consignment sale. I think it's Fisher Price. He also has a ride-on bus from the same sale that he likes to push around. My cousin bought him this and he likes to push it but also put stuff in the cart and take it out again.:

DD has a little Fisher Price walker that she likes. I'm probably going to get her a shopping cart since the poor thing is always trying to stick her little doll in the handles of the walker so she can push it!
Walkers are a little tough when they don't have good balance, because they'll start walking really, really fast. Before she got good at using the walker, I flipped over a laundry basket and she loved to push it around.
Funny! My DD throws the doll right out... I don't know where she learned to throw the baby out of the stroller! lol
DS is 10 months old and learning to walk now. He can now walk without the push toy but he still loves to push his around the house. I highly recommend it. It is the wide track activity walker by Little Tikes. https://www.amazon.com/Little-Tikes-Tracker-Activity-Walker/dp/B000096P3A/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=toys-and-games&qid=1239237765&sr=8-1
The mail doors on the front do come off fairly easily but those aren't needed to use the toy so it's not a big deal to me. The walker is a bit wider than others I've seen which makes it a bit more stable for him as well as there is a speed control on the front wheels so we could slow it down some when he was first learning to use it.
