Hello gals!
First of all, I'm not here to be bashed about making this question that might be really stupid to some, but to me it's very worrying! ![]()
Anyhow, since I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks ago I've been having tender and sore breasts, mild nausea once in a while and been sleepy a lot (now I'm a bit over 5 weeks pregnant).
Alright, last night before I went to bed, I noticed that my breasts weren't as sore as they were the day/s before. I prayed so much last night that the soreness would come back the next day, but unfortunately it didn't! I'm so scared that I might miscarry soon, because I already had 2 of them and the first miscarriage symptom was losing breast sensitivity! I'm so stressed out but I am hoping for the best.
I already called my doctor to scheduled an appointment ASAP, unfortunately they couldn't fit me in their office today or tomorrow. I have the appointment scheduled for this Friday at 11:00 AM to check my levels and all that.
But at the moment, I would like to know if any of you have gone through a similar experience and had a healthy full term pregnancy. Any thoughts on this? I will highly appreciate it!
Thanks in advance and lots of blessings to you all.
PS: For those who are wondering and questioning me how in the world I found out I was pregnant so soon, I already explained on a reply. But I will put it here so that everyone gets the FACTS.
First day of LMP: 2/24/09
(Regular cycle)
My most fertile days are as soon as my period it's over (yes I know that for a lot of women is about 10-16 days after their period, but everyone is different and every time I have gotten pregnant was during the first week after my period was over), therefore we TTC days after my period was completely over, this would make it the 31st of February and first few days of March.
March 23rd 2009: Went to the ER because I was having a lot of nausea, vomiting and had some abdominal pain (same pain I had when I suffered a ruptured cyst before). Got my vitals done, and we were asked if we were pregnant, we said we didn't know but there was a chance since we tried to conceive the month before that. Few minutes later the nurse came back to take some blood. One hour later the doctor came back saying, we were pregnant! He gave us the levels of 137 hCG which he explained would make it a bit over 3 weeks pregnant then.
Now 2 weeks later will make it over 5 weeks pregnant.
For the supportive people, thank you! Thanks for the nice comforting words. I'm feeling much better now, just hoping for the best to happen this Friday at my doctor's appointment. Good vibe and blessings to you gals!
Other than that, I will not waste my time with anyone being massively neurotic on the forum. If you have a problem about my case, that's YOUR problem, something you need to deal with yourself, not me.
Re: I don't have sore breasts anymore! Is that normal? - Please help!
Your ticker shows your 5 weeks something and you said you found our you were pregnant 4 weeks ago? That is impressive....how'd you do that? ;-)
How far a long are you?
(Also symptoms will come and go...don't worry.)
I am not going to flame you but you really just need to calm down.
Symptoms come and go. Don't stress. It's not good for your body.
Thank you for that. That is a wise way of looking at first tri. I'll keep that with me!
My thoughts exactly.
Thank you girls for posting and putting my mind at ease! I truly appreciate your words of comfort, we'll see how it goes this Friday at my doctor's appointment.
We found out by surprise! I had some abdominal pain and we went to the ER to make sure it wasn't a ruptured cyst (since I had one before). We told them there was a slim chance we could be pregnant, and didn't want to take anything that could harm a pregnancy (if we were pregnant). Anyway, they took blood from me and an hour later the doctor came back saying we were pregnant indeed! I was in shock because it only took us less than a month to conceive! The doctor said I was a bit over 3 weeks then, since my hCG levels were at 137! - We were so happy to find out the great news!
Realistically I am a bit over 5 weeks, according to my LMP I am 6 weeks and 1 day, but I know that's not true. So I deducted a week to be more on the realistic side.
I hope this little bean will stick, I'm praying so much and just laying in bed until I go to the doctor.
Thanks for the support!
This. Is your ticker wrong?
And ditto PP. Symptoms can come and go.
I just explained that.
Why would you deduct a week from your LMP - that's the indicator of technically how far along you are - it's not arbitrary. You can't just decide to deduct a week or add a week...
So "realistically" you don't know anything about pregnancy math.
I'm confused by the doctor's calculation, since at 15 DPO (4w1d pregnant) my hCG was 38.45, but anyway, congrats and good luck to you.
I'm still confused. If you were 3 weeks, 4 weeks ago, wouldn't that mean your 7 weeks now?
uh yeah the math in this post does not add up.
the date of my LMP is 2/18/09 and my cycles are about 28 days, I am 7 weeks and 1 day, OP said that she ovulates pretty close to the beginning of her cycle so she is probably not having lengthy cycles so she should be nearing 7 weeks.
ovulating earlier would make you further along, not less far along.
