DH and I did taxes last night a figured out we are getting a little over $5,000 back. We are trying to decided what to do with the money. Our choices are Disney vacation when the baby is a year old, add to a new house fund, or get some new furniature and a new TV. What you you doing with your refund?

Re: What are you doing with your tax refund?
Nursery furniture.
We don't get much back, purposfully. I'd rather have the money in hand through out the year.
However, I expect we'll get a really good refund next year, since we'll be adding the kiddo on.
wife to joe 2.2.08. mama to noah 9.5.09.
After multiple m/c's, a MTHFR diagnosis and the Lord calling both of our hearts in the same direction, we're adopting!

This, but I don't get too upset about paying taxes. I would rather be paying back an interest-free loan than having to wait for the government to pay me back on the interest-free loan I gave them for the year! One day, I will figure out the perfect balance and withhold just the right amount so I neither owe nor receive on 04/15! (a girl can dream)
A crib and a dresser!
I'm hiding the rest away in my account since my DH can't control himself. We want to make sure that we have padding in case there are extra medical expenses, etc.
Don't listen to her! Anytime is a good time to go to Disney World! We're going to be going next year before our LO is even a year. So what if they won't remember it, it's not like you can't go again later. I'm a bit of a Disney World lover can you tell? LOL
Refund or not, we're still going ahead with our six babymoons in seven weeks, buying all of our furniture and planning to buy a home and new car in the next six months. Ahh, the joys of never being in debt.
The baby may not remember it but our other three children will and we want to go while they are still really into disney characters. We went just the two of us last October for our honeymoon and promised to take them in a few years.
This, but reversed. Federal refund --> state owed. Booo.
