UTI, possibly?

Hey!

I'm fairly new here and LOVE this site and what everyone brings to it.  You all have been a huge help thus far. Today, (I'm in my 6th week) I went to pee and suddenly had this really bad burning sensation.  Is this normal or shall I say, common?  I have my first dr.'s appt. tomorrow but figured I would get some feedback to ease my mind a little.  If it's a UTI, should I just drink cranberry juice?

    Burning is definitely a symptom of a UTI.  Just ask for a urine test.

    I was having terrible back aches with minor burning a week or so ago and ended up having a UTI.  I get them fairly often and my Dr. said I am even more prone to getting them now that I'm pregnant.

    Get a urine test at your doctor.  Pregnancy makes you more likely to develop complications from a UTI, so if you do have one you should be treated with antibiotics.  Good luck!

    Thanks Ladies!

    I am having minor lower backaches too. I went to the Dr. this morning and they took a urine sample, so we'll see what happens.
