**Welcome to the September Sirens  (Formerly known as Sweet-Peas) daily check-in!  This is a group for women who are due in September 2009.  To be added to the list, please reply to this post in this exact format

This makes updating the list MUCH easier, it allows for copy and paste and probably won?t be posted if it isn?t in this format and isn?t done politely.  Thank you.         

**Let us know if you original due date has changed, if you want it updated on the list, reference your original due date so that finding you is easier!

** Please be patient and your name will be added.  I am trying my very best to keep up with this! Just send me a friendly PM and I will get you on!  I only update once a week on Wednesdays.

**As you find out what the sex of your baby is, please post it!  We will keep track of the number of boys, girls, and surprises! Please let us know if you are having multiples. We will keep track of that as well.  

** Please post any requests for additions or deletions to your listed information in the daily check in or in a PM. I can not search all posts for these requests. If it isn?t in the main post or in a PM, it will not be seen!

    Mine aren't doing so hot.  I noticed it during class last night, I've always had 20/20 and I couldn't read a thing on the screen.  Not fun.

    Mine are doing fine.  I have had some headaches in the past few weeks and I am beginning to wonder if it could be due to my eyesight changing.  Who knows?

    QOTD:  My eyes are getting worse than normal.  I have like 20/40 vision so I wear my glasses to drive, watch a small TV, etc.  But I can usually read the time on my cable box from my bed and last night I couldn't.  Sad  This didn't happen as quickly with my last pregnancy.

    I have an OB appointment today.  It feels like it has been forever.  I'm not having any issues, so it will just be the usual stuff...but I'm excited to hear the baby's heartbeat again!

    I feel like I'm going blind sometimes! I have occasional glasses that I have to wear that I'm finding I have to wear a LOT more to just see normal stuff.

    my eyes have always been horrible, so i haven't noticed a change. i do have headaches though. mostly in the morning.

    i have an appointment friday. i've been nervous that something is wrong so i can't wait to get in there. we should also be able to schedule our big u/s.

    Same as ever - thank goodness :)  They never got worse with ds either. 

     

    I have my 16wk appt today.  Hopefully we will set up my appt for the big u/s for when I am 20wks.  So exciting.

    When they're not searing in pain from the migraines, they're GREAT!

    I have always had terrible eye sight and every year it seems they get worse, I just went for my annual appt and they stayed the same for the first time in like 6 years!!! I was soooo excited. However, they are dry a lot and sometimes my contacts bother me and I have to go with my glasses, which makes DH happy as he thinks I look like a sexy teacher in them LOL.

    So far so good - a little itchy and they get kinda blurry at night but overall good :) 

     Have a doctor appt tonight so I get to make the big u/s appt!  (I may have already made the appointment this morning for the 22nd but tonight I get the actual prescription Smile)

    I had an appt yesterday - got to hear the heartbeat again.  I scheduled the BIG u/s for May 4th, so am super excited about that. 

    I noticed the other day that my vision was blurry.  Just found out its because of extra fluid or something. Weird. They also get really itchy sometimes.

    I hope my eyes are ok. I have been telling my DH that at night I feel as if I cannot read things from a distance. So I have been meaning to get them checked out. But I didn't think that had to do with being pregnant, I thought I was just getting older. Smile

    I have glasses for distance I use for driving but they have become "use all the time" glasses.

    I'm having to take out my contacts earlier in the evening, and on the weekends, I'm lazy and don't put in my contacts unless we're going somewhere. ?My eyes get all blurry and itchy at the end of the day - I'm glad my last check-up was right before I got pregnant! If I went now, they'd be like "whoa" - I think my astigmatism is acting up now.

    I haven't noticed any changes. I had an eye appointment three weeks ago and ordered some new contact because I was out of my disposables.

    Had an appt Friday, for a leg problem I'm having (numbness and pain in the quadracept). The heartbeat was strong and the doc said the baby is very active!

    Going to an orthopedist in an hour, to get this problem fixed and am very worried. I can't stand for long, and after a 30 min walk today the pain/pressure felt so bad I would have sat down in the street had I not already been at home. :( 

     I already feel so out of place in this new body, having it non functional makes it worse. Weird thing is, it doesn't happen from running, just standing, walking, and laying on my back!

    I haven't noticed any difference yet.  That being said, I will be working on a large excel spreadsheet most of the day, and it would kill my eyes before getting pg, so we'll see how I do today.

    I have some seriously dry eyes.  I've cut down on how long I leave my contacts in and I bought some eye drops as well.  So weird all these pregnancy side effects.

    My eyes feel like crap, but my contacts are really old and need changing. No vision problems beyond the usual.

    Horrible! I am currently wearing my glasses, which I haven't worn in like 5 years because my eyes have been getting so dry and irritated that I couldn't wear my contacts. I'm giving my eyes a break for a bout a week before going back to contacts. My Dr. told me I should minimize the amount of time I have my contacts in.

    Contacts are bothering me a lot more than ususal and lots of headaches.  Could be allergies, though.

    My eyes have always been fine - until recently.  DH and I went on vacation to Las Vegas and it seemed like the entire time my eyes were fuzzy.  Especially on the highway - I couldn't read those big green signs for anything!  I need to make an appointment to have them checked.  (My teeth too!)

    I haven't noticed any change in eye sight thus far and I have always had 20/10 vision.  I have been having headaches the past few days... didn't even think to relate the two!

    My distance vision definitely stinks now.  The other day I called my husband over to look out the window at the big bunny that was in the back yard...turns out it was a squirrel.  Oops.

    Eyes are doing good.  I haven't noticed any changes.  Then again, I don't know if I have been paying attention.

    I have my big U/S next tuesday.  Finally counting down to less than a week, can't wait to see the baby.

     So I guess my eyes are fine, I had perfect vision until last year now I have glasses, and I tend to not wear them when I should but I think I am ok.
