I know it's Wednesday, so that means Hump Day, but I don't have to work on Friday so that means today is my Thursday. Anyone else excited for the 4 day weekend?
I'm off on Friday and I have a slower week next week. Perfection! Plus, I have to hang out at home for 2 more hours because I'm "on call" at the?mediation?office. Yeah for morning Bump time!
Nope, you're not the only one, ccbanana! I work at a private Catholic school and WE don't get Friday off. Oh, but be prepared to be in awe because they are letting us out an hour early (sarcastic grump). You would think that working with overly religious people would get me a pass for Good Friday...
At least the weekend is in sight. And Easter means eating candy without all the guilt of a normal day!

I went to Catholic school and they NEVER gave us Good Friday off. We just had super long mass. I always thought that was strange. ?

Groan....Good Friday mass seemed to take years when I was in school too. I liked it better than Holy Thursday though - the priest washing the feet stuff used to make me gag-ish.
I have to work Friday and Saturday nights! However, since most of my shift on Saturday night will fall on the holiday, I get time-and-a-half. We don't have the kids for Easter this year, so no biggie. I'm sure DH will manage!
Re: Wednesday/Friday Eve

Same here. But if we're lucky they might let us go home early on Friday.
