  • most have AC adaptors as well as battery packs.

i know the Medela PISA has both. I pump in the car all the time. great time saver

  • The Medela Freestyle runs on batteries, too. ?If they are fully charged, the suction is as good as if plugged in.
  • My Ameda Purely Yours runs on batteries, a car charger OR and A/C adapter! Nice!

Ditto this.  It's not quite as strong on batteries only but it has a car adapter.  I love it so far!

  • I bought an AC adapter for the car lighter for my PISA off of Amazon.  However, what I should have done is buy an adapter where you can plug anything into it at Radio Shack.  Then, when you're pumping days are over it is still functional.  They're about the same price.

Good luck!  Pumping while driving is my biggest time saver.  I'm actually more effective during the week than on the weekend because of it!
