U/s Update

The bad news: The sac was "outside of range", meaning measuring too small for a gestational age - .93 cm. The tech said that's about 4.5 weeks, she guesses. So I'll surmise that the measurement on Sunday of 5 weeks and the "outside of range" from today is due to differing techniques in measuring and/or angle of the picture. Yeah, that sounds good...

The good news: The tech (and I) thought she saw a teeny yok sac.

The waiting continues as I have to wait until tomorrow morning to call my OB to ask for her plan.

Thanks to everyone for their warm wishes, thoughts and prayers today. It means alot to me, really.

I'll update tomorrow after I talk with my OB.

    I'm so sorry you're stuck in limbo for the time being.  I am hopeful for you that it was a yolk sac you saw!  Continued prayers and positive thoughts coming your way!

    I remember that Francisca had some conflicting US in the beginning. It is SOOOO early, that they could be getting poor pictures. Good luck! I am praying for you.

    What everyone has told me w/both pregnancies b/c both times there were u/s concerns: until you get a crown to rump measurement you really can't tell what "age" the sac is.  Seeing a little yolk sac was a great sign Big Smile  Try not too worry too much about the measuring.  As I have learned, it is all about making forward progress, which today it sounds like you have!

    The waiting game is horrible!!!  Be strong.  It sounds good though, at least things increased and you will go in next time and see more growth!!!!

    We had 2 years of IF trying to conceive #2 and one loss during that time. We are currently trying for #3! had another loss the end of June

    I came over here to see if there was an update. I'm sorry it's not glowing but I'm glad that you have some good news!! I hope that your baby is just taking it's time and getting nice and comfy in there!!! Good luck!
