What do you put in your pasta salad?

I made some pasta salad on Sunday and used Farfalle pasta, diced cucumber, diced green pepper, small cheese cubes and grape tomatoes.  I used this basil oil olive dressing and it is SO good.  I'm serious.  I usually don't make stuff this good!

Just wondering what everyone else put in their pasta salad.

Re: What do you put in your pasta salad?

  • all that stuff plus olives, marinated artichoke hearts and feta cheese
  • Loading the player...
  • I usually add roasted red peppers, olives, fresh mozzarella, artichoke hearts, pepperoni and whatever vegetables I have.  I use bottled Italian dressing and Barilla tri-colored pasta.  This makes me think of summer :)
  • usually just veggies, noodles, olives and Italian dressing.  The olive oil sounds good.  I may have to try that.
  • i like the zesty or house italian dressing, it has a nice bite to it
  • I use a super simple "recipe" with corkscrew pasta, red onions, pepperoni slices (cut smaller), Parmesan cheese, oil & vinegar, and Nature's Seasoning blend or whatever it is...I think it's Morton's. YUM. DH's mom made hers and I made mine while on vacation last year and mine was eaten up by all the guys before hers was...hehe.
