Since last week, I'm getting all day nausea, with a morning toilet bonding session. For some reason, saltines don't work for me; I think the only thing they've been good for is to just have something in my stomach when it's time to throw up. And Jolly Ranchers worked for a few days, until I threw up right after having one and I now can't stand the taste. So far, the best things for me are a really cold cola-based drink (root beer, decaf coke, not sprite), or potato items (potato chips, french fries, baked potato). I feel like I'm on the trashiest diet ever this week! Anyone else going through this?

Re: Weird m/s relief foods?
I am finally coming out of that... I liked decaf coke and stoned wheat thins or pretzel rods (I sucked the salt off of them) the most. French fries definitely were on my list of things that did not bother me, too. Mott's 100 percent granny smith apple sauce was good, too. I'd try chewing gum-- bazooka bubble gum helped me until I got sick of it.
The last couple days m/s has been really bad, and grapefruits have made me feel a lot better. I've heard old wives tales about not eating them during pregnancy, but whatever I can keep down, I'll eat.
Oh yeah, and jelly beans
I'm exactly where you are.... nausea ALL DAY LONG. Dry heaving, etc. Ugh.... gross.
So far I have found nothing. and what works some days will cause increased dry heaves the next day.
i know there's an end in sight..... but serious, it can't come any sooner.
I talked to my doctor yesterday about my m/s, and he reccomended:
ginger tea, ginger snaps, ginger pretty much anything (etc.)
saltine crackers
weak decaf. tea
B6
Gatorade and Sprite (half and half)
ice pops (popsicles)
Applesauce and bagels were my comfort food before zofran.

i had all day nausea from 6.5wks until 9.5wks - it just eased off a few days ago...
i lived on bagels and also ate Lipton Noodle Soup packets almost daily - the kind with just noodles and chicken broth. I found the broth and simple carbs really soothing - would recommend it.
i am just starting to try and get back on a normal diet that doesn't consist of 100% carbs and junk...
just eat whatever you can until you feel better
hopefully soon!
regular lays potato chips
baked potato with sour cream
mac and cheese
(I have been living off this stuff for the past 2 weeks because it's all I can keep down without feeling sick after.)
All I know is that I've only had a couple days of "feeling good" since this baby graced me with it's presence.
Both days were prefaced by a night of really good sleep. And today's bout of normalcy was prefaced by a hot dog and malt cup at a baseball game last night.
Coke Icee's!!! They are the best, no other flavor though, if they are out of Coke, don't even try it. Burger King has them, some gas stations, the movie theater, I think they're even better than just plain Coke
Right now toast is my very best friend. Better than saltine crackers.
Flat coke worked briefly as well.
