I feel horrible

I inadvertently let DD CIO.  It was maybe for 10 minutes or so but I had no idea.  I was in the other room and didn't hear her over the monitor and DH fell asleep on the couch (and never hears the monitor when he is asleep) so she was crying I didn't hear it.  When I finally heard something I quickly finished what I was doing and by then she was asleep.

    CIO is torture.

    But working for us. DS sleeps through the night, except for when he loses his binky once in awhile. He always falls back asleep as soon as he gets it in his mouth.

    I think CIO is way worse for us than it is for them.

    Oh no - but on the brightside she did work it out on her own, that is a good thing!  I don't have the heart for cio so I would feel the same way you do.
