Got back from CD3 ultrasound.

Very large cyst on my right ovary, no idea how long it's been there.

So, I'm back on birth control for 2.5 weeks, another ultrasound on 4/27 and if it's gone, we can start the clomid/IUI cycle. If not... that's a problem.

I'm pissed that without this new RE who believes in CD3 monitoring, Dr. Douchebag would have put me back on clomid and that would have stimulated the cyst to the point of potentially bursting. And to top it off, I'm not allowed any strenuous exercise since the cyst is so large that it might burst.

F*ck me.

Oh goodness, sorry about the BC, but thank goodness he caught the cyst. ?If it doesn't go away, will it need to be removed?

I'm sorry. That really f-ing sucks.

Thank goodness they caught it, though. I'm off to a doctor's appointment in about an hour to talk about round 2 of clomid, and so far my doctor's been pretty hands off in monitoring me. In light of your post, I'm going to be more emphatic about monitoring this time around. If he won't, I think I need to try a new doc.

That does stink. It is good to have cd 3 monitoring however. You will be able to make sure that abnormalities like cysts are not there. Stimulating it with more clomid would be a recipe for not good things. Good luck!
