Easter Baskets

For those of you that celebrate Easter...what are you doing for easter baskets? What are you putting in them?

This is the first year that I am going one for Sophia. We just got her a stuffed bunny last year since she was so little. I am trying to think of something cute and age appropriate since I don't want to hype her up on chocolate bunnies. LOL. I may get one for myself, tho, to share with her.... '-)

    i made an easter basket for mady...it has plastic colorful eggs (which we will use to attempt an egg hunt), an easter bubble wand (for us lol), 2 flower shirts and a "my 1st easter bib"....whole thing was under $10

    I haven't gone out shopping yet but I made a basket for Alexis last year.  She was so little I only got her a stuffed bunny and some plastic eggs with candy (for me!). 

     This year - I'll go to Target and see what I find there - I'm sure a bunny of some sort and some candy and I'll see if I find something cute.  A cute Easter- related toy or something.  I really want to color eggs but I just don't know when I will find the time for that!

    I purchased a personalized basket on ebay with his name on it and it came with a blue bunny and some matching easter eggs. I went to the Disney store yesterday and bought some Mickey and Friends bathtime toys to put inside his basket, a small hardcover easter book from Target for $1.00 (next to the DVD's), and some outfits I bought for our cruise at the end of the month (I will put some of them inside the basket). I also bought those little cups to dye the easter eggs and am probably going to do those on Saturday since I am having an egg hunt at my house on Sunday!!

    Alex's basket is going to have a new game, Elefun, and a new pair of crocs....havent figured out max's basket yet : )

    Mikey's basket has a egg shaped doodle pad to take on the plane later this month, bubbles, and eggs with Little People in them.

    i'm making one more for us than her :)  lol so she can have pics of her first easter!  it's gong to have a "my first easter" bib, a pair of bunny ears, one of those bunny dollars from publix, and a stuffed bunny. 

    i make an easter basket for DH every year and mini ones for my family, since I host easter at my house

    Well, we obviously don't have kiddies yet, but I def spoil godchildren, and niece/nephew with gifts!  We have gotten into a habit of always buying godchildren bathing suits for Easter... it is a tradition we love!  So, I always but a bathing suit, maybe some sunglasses, coloring book w/ crayons, and I check Target's Easter section (usually have baskets of Easter related "stocking stuffers") for extra fillers.  For my niece, since her godmother does the same w/ the bathing suit, I get her a little spring dress, or sandals for the season.

    I too dont' like to give candy... they'll get enough of that during the day.

    Diego- Some eggs with candie and chocolate, some thomas the train toys (target), a dvd (need to get it), might get some coloring books. A stuffed bunny or whatever I find cute..lol

    Sofia-RTD formula, a stuffed animal, eggs with chocolate (for me) plus whatever I find when I go to the store to finish them.
