Hello!
I saw your reponse to my reply about the IVF abroad....
So your mom's family is Croatian heh?! My husband is 100% Croatian, born and raised and his entire family is over there. DH and I met through work. I have been to Croatia many times over the years. It is definitely a beautiful country. I would love to have a place there on the coast one day - it is so expensive though. We looked for land and/or an apartment in 2003 and 2004 as we were going to live there, but we ended up changing our minds and purchasing a home in South Florida - I have family around the state. DH assures me that when we are old and our kids are grown, we will retire to Croatia. We'll see.
Have you been yet?
- Kristine

I've never been out of the country (unless you count Canada!) Right now Scotland tops my list of places to go but Croatia has its place on the list too.
Living away from family is hard so I can understand not wanting to move over there now. It's going to be even harder to leave your kids and maybe grandkids later on in life though. I'm slowly working on getting my family to move away from the cold north to Florida with me. Someone had better listen to me because I don't want to move back to a snowy state.
