I know full-time infant day care at most centers is about $250-$300 a week. Ouch! I've heard of home day care's being as low as $180/week full time. Part-time is usually pro-rated, but you usually pay a higher rate per day than the full-time weekly rate. We've been looking in the south and southwest metro.
I am also going to be looking for 3 days a week and what I've found for center daycare is that it's around 62-75 per day. This is is Plymouth and Minnetonka. I'm now going to be bringing my child to a daycare at home....just have to find somewhere!
We pay $125/wk for an in home daycare. The centers around here wer $250 on up a week. I'm in the blaine/coon_rapids area.
$250 a week? Wow, direct me to that one! LOL
I'm in the Blaine/CR area too and my preschooler goes to a center two days a week for $70 freaking dollars a day. It's horrible. But he gets a good learning curriculum and a social environment. Glad he only goes two days.
When he was younger, I worked in DT St. Paul and used a home daycare near there and it was $30 a day. That was a great rate and he learned a ton there too.
Mom to Jace (7/2004), Cade (2/2009) and baby girl (5/2019)
We are in the Shoreview area and pay $155 a week for full time at an in home daycare. I do know that we are getting a great deal. All the other in homes around here were $200-$250 a week.

The two centers we are looking at charge $240/wk and $259/wk. I haven't looked into home day care yet. And to be honest, don't really know where to begin to do in home looking!
(One center is in Andover where we live. And the other place is in Mpls, at my place of work)
We go to a big center and are 2 days a week and pay $185. Ouch. But it was hard to find part time infant day care that was flexible and they are very flexible. And our baby is doing really well there, and we like it so far.
We go to a center in St. Paul and pay $190.00/week for 3 days. Our days are flexible from week to week, we just need to let them know what days we will be there. We provide diapers and wipes. They provide Good Start Formula, but we don't use Good Start so we have brought in what we use. They provided baby food when he was old enough for that and are now providing table food. The infant rate at our center is for babies 6 weeks - 16 months.
