3 hour?

I just  found out that I did not pass the one hour and that I need to take the 3-hour glucose test.

Can anybody tell me what thats like?  I know its not a big deal, but in my last pregnancy I flew through all the tests without any glitches.

    First of all, go first thing in the morning so you are not starving too badly  Second, they'll take your blood then give you the shat to drink.  (hopefully it's cold) Next, they'll take your blood every hour for three hours after that. Good luck!

    Well I had to fast after 12 the night before. Then when you get there, they take blood before you drink the drink and then again every hour on the hour. That way they can see how your body responds at different time periods.

    I would bring something to do! It will get boring. I brought dds blanket and crocheted in the waiting room. Good luck!

    I'm so not looking forward to it... it was all I could do not to puke up the drink this morning and now I learn that I have to do it again... ugh
