athletes foot TMI

so i think ds got athletes foot. It was only in one spot and very small. I think it was from me not drying his feet enough and putting on his feety pjs ?Well it went away by itself. ?I think I have it now.( I swear we aren't gross) ?Its a tiny slash between my toe and it burns, hurts, and is itchy. ?I put tinactin on it starting yesterday. ?ITs still killing me. ?ANy advice on what else to use?

    What about using a cream such as Lotrimin AF?  I've never had it but that's what the pedi tells us to use when DD gets a yeast infection.  Athlete's foot is just a form of yeast and, since Lotrimin is for athlete's foot, I would assume it should work.

    just dry your feet reallly well and keep using the tinactin.  i would use it a couple times a day.  it hurts like hell but it heals quickly.
