I need more ideas for meals! I feel like I keep giving her the same things over and over - and she likes them - but I want to give her more variety. Can you recommend a website or book that has some great toddler meal ideas? I have already been to www.wholesometoddlerfood.com
TIA!
Re: Toddler meals (bfast, lunch, dinner, snacks)
The O'Baby Blog
I was going to rec. wholesomebabyfood.com and Super Foods book. I make dd meals based on the rainbow and food group. I try to make sure she has a protein, veg/fruit, and carb at every meal. From there I just build. Example from today:
B'fast: whole grain apple cinnamon mini waffles, diced strawberries, and a yogurt smoothie. (protein from yogurt, carb from waffles, and fruit)
Lunch: grilled chicken strips, mixed veggies, and diced peaches with hunny bunny grahams for dessert & milk
Snack: string cheese with bunny cheese crackers & water
Dinner: pork tenderloin, green beans, cinnamon apples & milk (she eats what we eat for dinner).
This has been the easiest for me to remember when meal planning for her......carb, protein, fruit/veggie and make sure her plate doesn't all look like one color.
