My body waits til I'm 33wks before it decides to give me streatch marks... BOOO! I know that streatch marks have been a big issue on here and that many of you already have them. I am not not trying to make anyone mad, just complaining...
I have been putting lotion on my belly just to keep it from itching and hoping that I wouldn't get really bad streatch marks. I fully expected to get them due tot he fact that I got some on my boobs in high school. I was hoping that since I haven't gotten any so far that they wouldn't get bad and maybe I'd only get a couple at the very end. Last night I found 2 big ones under my belly button. I am very disapointed that I have 7 full weeks to accumulate more. My luck I'll find 2 a day from here on out. Everyday that I hadn't found any, I'd start to think that I'd be lucky and not get any at all. My poor SIL didn't get any till her last week and then she got them really bad.
Oh well, I guess. I knew it was unavoidable but still I'm bummed. Anyway, I'm just feeling sorry for myself. Flame away if you feel the need.
Re: What a cruel joke...
<cough>stretch<cough>?
no flames... stretch marks suck. I wouldn't flame you for your battle scars! LOL
ya i've always put lotion on and it's just inevitable... Mine are getting REALLY bad right now too. They look horrible like a t rex tried to rip open my belly.

Oh I hear ya...
I thought I was out of the woods, until week 34... where I noticed my old ones on my hips, growing and extending out of control... so sad...
I haven't any on my belly YET, but the hips and butt have some nice new bright red/purple ones. I load up on BioOil first, then finish off with a liberal amount of Palmer's Cocoa Butter.
I know many people may flame, but I can totally relate. It's not avoidable, but I would trade them for worse heartburn than I already have (and that's pretty bad!!).
I know I know. lol! It's one of those words that my brain knows how to spell but my fingers can't seem to type. I also like to type "the" w/ an "r" at the end. I have to keep an eye on that!
