S/O:Johnson and Johnsons bedtime bath

someone mentioned they thought it was drying to their LO head/hair. I have found this to be true...what shampoo do you use for LO hair?

Re: S/O:Johnson and Johnsons bedtime bath

  • I was the one that mentioned it was drying. I just use regular J&J head to toe baby wash on her head now and her scalp is much better. I have had a prescription waiting for me for 2 weeks or so for her flakey scalp but when I stopped using the bedtime bath on her head it got better pretty quick.?

Ask your pedi for a prescription shampoo if your LO's head is really dry.?

  • I use the Aveeno baby wash. I haven't had any problems with dryness.
  • Huggies natural care hair & body wash seems ok for our guy. I use the Bedtime lotion, but only on his body- I use Aveeno or the Winnie the Pooh Eczema lotion on his face!

  • We use Mustela Foaming Shampoo for our DD. It helps with cradle cap and the pedi suggested it. I think it works great!

  • I used J&J until I read about the formaldyhyde in it, while using it DD had very dry skin and cradle cap.  Now I use California Baby and I love it, dry skin gone, cradle cap gone.  I don't even have to use lotion on her skin anymore.
  • I use Burt's Bees - J&J is craptastic, and I wouldn't wash a dog with it.
