Yes, it matters so it isn't a silly question! Eat the regular Oatmeal (takes 5 minutes to cook approx.) and not the instant varieties. I usually eat one serving for breakfast in the morning, too.
Enjoy! If you bake or make "lactation cookies", remember to use the regular oats, as well.
I make steel cut oats some days and other days just the regular oatmeal, I pop it in the microwave for a minute and I add some brewers yeast to it.
