Milford Hospital / Milford OB Reccomendations

Any recs / opinions are appreciated!!! TIA?

It ends up we are probably moving before the baby comes so newton-wellsley is probably going to be too far away.

    Are you living right in Milford?  We live in Milford and will be going to UMass Memorial in Worcester.  Mainly because it has a NICU (just in case), and they have the best maternity center west of Boston.  Newton-Wellesley was our second option - only about a half hour away.  DH's boss delivered there and said it was wonderful.  I don't think a lot of babies are delivered at Milford Hospital, so I recommend UMass or Newtown-Wellesley.  If you decide on UMass, I highly recommend Dr. Narducci - she's fantastic.  Lots of energy, lots of fun, and knows her stuff.  She actually recommended her own personal pediatrician to us!

    Dr. Jeng in Milford delivered me @ Milford.  I loved Milford, very small loved the nurses, got lots of attn.  They have the same C-sect. rates as N-W but people have a misconception that they're higher for whatever reason.  Dr Jeng was great even though she wasn't my doc. Dr. Kerestzi was who is fine, nothing great, nothing awful really to say - kind of status quo.  Heard good things about Dr. Mead, too.  I had Dr. Coutinho who is at Milford and she's nice, a little abrupt and fast, but good, too...

    We are moving Northborough but I met with my OB at NWH for the first time Friday and really liked her so I will probably will be making a little bit of a longer ride. Thanks so much for the suggestions, much appreciated!!!

    I too use Dr. Jeng from Dr. MEads office. She's ok! I am using Milford Hosp bc I grew up w/ that hosp and know it inside and out and feel comfy there. The nurses from that floor seem very nice, we had them for our class. They have a nurse for every delivery-one per patient, they have tubs to relax in as well and a few extra ammenaties. I rec them!! Good luck! Take a tour!!

    I LOVE DR. Jeng! She is the best! She delivered my daughter in 2007, and will be delivering my 2nd in August!
