I read your post to MrsPABlondie and just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry you are going through so much with the allergy problem and all.  I admire your dedication to sticking with BF and cutting out all of that stuff from your diet.

I just wanted to tell you that we go to the same practice and we always request to see Dr. Deschene (sp?).  She is awesome!  She will sit there with us for Sophia's check-ups and patiently answer each and every question we have.  She even tells us stuff that Sophia will be doing/going through in the upcoming weeks.  We just really, really like her.  

I can totally understand your frustration with the practice right now, but maybe try requesting to see Dr. Deschene and see how you like her.

    Sara, thank you so much. I think we might just do that!  I do like that every time we call we talk with a person rather than going through prompts.  I also like how close of a drive it is for us.  I know several families who are completely happy with the practice and I wish we were having a similar experience.  I like the Nurse Practitioner but she doesn't seem confident in her decisions/answers.  As a result, I feel less confident with her care.  Maybe we'll give Dr. Deschene a try.

    Side note but... I hope my sticking with BF through this doesn't lead anyone to believe that I'm against formula.  I don't feel strongly for or against one or the other.  I do strongly believe that every family needs to do what is best for them.

    I never got the impression that you are against formula.  I'm just impressed that you are trying to continue to BF and figure out the problem.  I BF Sophia for 3 months (with no problems, thank God) and I don't think I could have changed my diet.  I always admire the mom's that stick with BF through problems!

    I'm glad you didn't get that impression.  Several people have asked why I don't switch and if I'm against it, so I worried I was giving that impression.

    Thank you, Amy!  He's usually happy after he naps and eats.  It was a bonus that Matt was here to help ... we get even bigger smiles when Daddy is talking to him!
