  yup my beta number was only 22 so it was too low for a hpt.

  My BFs SIL never got a positive HPT.  She didn't get AF and was three weeks late when she finally went to the Dr. Dr did a blood test because she POAS there and it was neg.  Her beta was through the roof.

  Yup - negative hpt at 14 dpo & beta at 16 dpo was 72. Two days later I still couldn't get it to show up on a pg test!

  I have a friend who was a g.c. for someone and she never got a +HPT. She just gave birth to twins!!
