Ugh, I hate the duck tub! Everyone kept saying how great it was, so I bought it and it was nothing but a PITA. It sprung a leak after about 10 days of use, it's a pain to store unless you feel like deflating and inflating it everyday. It's also hard to clean. DS didn't really seem to care about it at all, so we tossed it and now he just sits in the big tub. It's sooo much easier.

DD loves the duck. In fact duck is her only word. I like it because I don't need to fill up my huge bath tub and because it has an anti-slip bottom. For 11 bucks you can't go wrong.
We love the duck too -- as pp said, it keeps DD contained, and she loves to reach out and touch the ducky's head when I make it quack. My only complaint is that our "hot" indicator seems to be pretty over-sensitive. Anything above barely lukewarm and it screams "HOT" at me. Makes me feel all self conscious
We love it too! It keeps Em in a safer place...and she can sort of bounce off the sides:) I've given her a bath in the big tub and she did fine with that as well. This has just been a great transition between the two.She started pulling up a few weeks ago so the duck tub days are almost over since she would rather pull herself out of it then sit. As far as storing it goes...if you have separate bathroom that you bathe your child in, storage isn't a problem. We just keep it set up and let it dry out between uses.
Ditto on the $10.99 price tag...you can't beat that!

Oh, that annoyed me, too. DH was obsessed with it. I told him before we even used it that the water temp indicator was oversensitive, but he would still say, "Are you sure the water's not too hot?" every single time we bathed DS.

It's cushier for DS to sit on, easier to keep him contained, fills quickly, and the beak quacks if you press it and DS thinks it's hysterical. Best $10 ever spent.
Love the duck!! You use less water, has a little cushion for if you little one falls over, they just bounce! Ours has a suction cup on the tail so after you use it you just hang it on the shower wall to drain/dry. When I take a shower I just toss it out and then hang it back up when I'm done. No need to inflate/deflate daily. Thats too much work!!! And he also loves that the duck quacks as well!!! I recommend it!!!
I bought one (bc of the Bump hype about it) and got home and realized we didn't really need it. DD still uses the baby bath tub inside the big tub, and she is doing just fine in that. I think we will just transition to the big tub soon... and I can use the $10 on something else like diapers!
My DD loves her Ducky Tub. She has been using it for about 4 or 5 months now and she is now standing up in it so I have tried her in the big tub and she is not having it. She likes her ducky!

DS loves his duckie tub, we have been using it for over 4 months without a problem, it keeps DS contained and makes it easier to wash him up. We just keep it inflated in our big tub for storage and take it out when we are going to use the shower.

Re: What's so great about the inflatable duck?
My DD loves the duck.
It keeps her from trying to climb out of the big tub and also from crawling around and trying to get to the spout and everything.

I love these two beautiful children!

My parents bought one for when we visit them. It doesn't take much space and we don't have to worry about her falling over in their big tub!
