Fisher Price- Baby Grand Piano?

My nephew has this and my son loves it- so we went out and got it for him. We put the few pieces together and the green little note thing doesn't make a sound- like my nephew (yes, I called to confirm)- so my husband went back and got another one that doesn't make a sound either. No where does it say that it should- I'm just going on my nephew's one that is about 1 year old. Does anyone have this? Does your green note thingy work?

I can't check ours because it's in storage with most of Zachary's toys for now (we moved across country), but I'm pretty sure when you move the green note it sings a little song or something. We bought it for him for Christmas, and the first one we got had a key that didn't make noise so we had to return it for another one. That's a bummer that you got two duds!

I KNOW!!! It's driving me nuts!!

I even called Fisher Price and the guy that I got didn't really seem that helpful-but he suggested I try new batteries. So, off to the store I went- only to leave them in the shopping cart (yes, I can't just get 1 thing in the supermarket-so I needed a cart). So, then I had to go back- luckily, the cart guy found them and we don't live more than 2 minutes away.

I don't think ours does anything, maybe on just one of the settings but not on the others. DD only plays with the keyboard part

yea..ours makes noises. different sounds..for each setting

Ours makes noise too, but it is almost 6 months old. I am wondering if the new ones that are just now being produced and sold in stores do not make the noise. I find it odd that you would get two lemons in a row! I hope you figure it out soon...and get one that works right! Good Luck!
