Any good suggestions for play groups in Portland/Beaverton?

I am a SAHM and am getting bored with the routine. I don't have any friends with babies anywhere near DD's age and it makes me sad that she doesn't really get to socialize.

Any suggestions? Maybe you know of a playdate group I could join or something?

P.S. I can't really afford to pay for the classes you take baby to unfortunately.

There are several free groups organized by Zenana Spa in SE...they have a website. I am going to start attending the BF group in a few weeks. GL

We have a local Mom's Club in Forest Grove that is extremely active. There are two in Beaverton. Check out this site:

I've also joined quite a few local Mom's groups through meetup.com. And then those groups have spin off groups and so on. And, the more people you meet, the more groups/activities you'll learn about. Have fun!

Check out the urbanmamas.com website. I'm pretty sure they have a mother's group or play group.
