Boy name help needed!!!

My DS#1 is Samuel Jay which we love.  We had also like the name Jacob or Jake but decided to keep it in case we had another boy....which we are having.  I'm not the biggest fan of Jacob because of it's popularity but Jake being one syllable is screwing up my middle name ideas.  Also, we were trying to use an M middle name for my DH's grandmother, but so far all I like kind of is Max......Jake Max doesn't work for me at all.....but Jacob Max is ok.  I'm not in love with anything yet.

But, with either Jacob or Jake do you guys have any middle name suggestions???  We generally like more traditional names.

    Well... if you're concerned about popularity, don't name him Jacob OR Jake. If you're NOT concerned, just name him Jacob and call him Jake. I think Sam and Jake are really cute for brothers! How about:

    Jacob Michael, Jacob Maxwell, Jacob Matthew, Jacob Mark, Jacob Miles

    What about Michael?  Jacob Michael and Jake Michael both sound good.  Or you could lengthen Max to Maxwell.  Jacob Maxwell/Jake Maxwell sounds good.

    Hi Jill!  Hope you're feeling well.  We're having the same issues with girl names (we don't know what the gender is, but we've agreed on a few boy names).  Jacob or Jake Matthew is cute.  Jack was almost Jacob Ryan, but we went with Jack Ryan instead.  GL!
