Birth at Beth Israel Post-Renovations?

Has anyone given birth at Beth Israel after the recent (2008 I think) renovations to the recovery ward?  I can't tell if some of the negative press out there (i.e. scary people on urbanbaby) is due to the condition of the place before the overhaul or if it is actually bad for other reasons.
