Lclaire

I'd love to hear more about your VBAC when you have a chance!  I really hope it went well for you!

Re: Lclaire

  • Hey Kelly!! I'm working on finding time to sit and get it all written up while it's still clear in my mom(lol) - I promise to post or at least email it to you as soon as I actually get it done!

  • If you wouldn't mind sharing, I would be interesting in hearing about it also. I had a csection with Natalie and if we decide to have another, I would like to try and go VBAC.  Thanks!

Ok, will do! I didn't post a ton about it while I was pregnant, but I definitely struggled to get that vbac in a lot of ways, so I'll definitely share when I finally sit down and write it all out:)  A big factor in if they'll  "let" you try a vbac is the reason that you had a c-section in the first place. I think the hugest thing I did for myself was to reasearch like CRAZY about it so that I knew the stats and numbers and ACOG's recs on a lot of things to be able to discuss - otherwise, they would have talked me into a repeat c-section really early in my pregnancy. I had major issues with why I had my c-section with Amelia and I didn't want to feel the same way this time around and that prompted me a ton to research it so that I wasn't taking any unreasonable risks and I never felt like I was in any way.

  • Thanks! Take your time -- I'll look forward to hearing it when you get a chance.
