Beta drama update

So I had my first "real" beta drawn on Tuesday by my new OB. I had my second one this morning.

I was told that I had to wait until Friday to call for the reults of BOTH!

So, last night while my boss was standing over me at work, my cell rings. I missed the call and it was (unexpectedly) my OB. The message says "just calling about your lab work. Get the other draw done on Thursday. I'll call you Friday." Um..... why did you call me? You told me to call you? Nerves set in....

This morning, the phlebotomist tells me that since I got my draw at 9am, and the courrier pick up is at 9:30am, the results will be rady today by 3 pm. She tells me to call the secretary and ask them to pull my chart so the doctor can call me THIS aftrenoon instead. So I called.

The doctor is out of the office today and no one else will call in the results to me!

I know it's only one more day....but.....knowing the result is probably sitting there on a computer screen for BOTH betas is torture.

If only I were a computer hacker.... Devil
